My first certification was the CCNA. I spent three months jumping between free YouTube videos, Reddit deep dives, and whatever resources I could find. There was no system. No roadmap. Just scattered material across dozens of sources and no way to know what mattered. I passed, but the process was brutal.
That CCNA changed everything. Networking concepts are heavily weighted across almost every security certification, even when the questions are not directly about networking. Having that foundation made every subsequent cert smooth. I developed a passion for it, and that advantage carried me through all six.
But I knew most people would quit before they got through what I went through. So I built the system I wish I had. CoreDirective was built to break that pattern. Every study system, every stream, every piece of content exists because someone needed it and could not find it or could not afford it.
The Network+ study system is free because everyone deserves a starting point. The rest is priced for accessibility, not profit maximization. The community exists because learning alone is harder than it needs to be.
